16 Days 16 Films needed a digital platform capable of supporting a growing international film initiative while communicating a serious and important social purpose.
The website had to bring together film submissions, finalist programmes, jury information, press coverage and campaign content within one clear experience, while also providing the infrastructure needed to support audience engagement and voting.
The site provides a central home for submissions, films, jury members, news and festival activity, while making a large and evolving body of content easier to explore. A dedicated voting system also supported audience participation during the festival.
That positioning is supported by what the live site is doing today: submissions, annual finalist programmes, jury information, press, campaign content and a substantial archive of films and activity.

16 Days 16 Films is an international short-film initiative that creates opportunities for female-identifying filmmakers while supporting the global campaign to end violence against women. We designed and developed a digital platform to showcase the films, support the festival programme and provide a bespoke audience voting experience.
